Closed Season is an “intimate’ Holocaust film by German director Franziska Schlotterer. It is the story about a Jewish refugee who finds safety at the farm of a German couple in the Black Forest in Southwest Germany in 1942 and the dramatic consequences of the strange relationship between these 3 main characters. It is a beautiful yet haunting movie that confronts issues of survival, moral integrity, and guilt amidst  the horrific events of the Holocaust Made in Germany and Israel, Closed Season is primarily in German with English subtitles. It has been the winner of 7 Film Festival Awards.

This film includes mature content and is appropriate for mature audiences.
