SHLEIMUT HOURS

During the week of November 19, 2017, Sarah Shapiro, Shleimut Social Work Consultant will be onsite at Beth Israel during the following hours:

  • Sunday, November 19 - 10 am to 12 noon

Family Caregivers- your feedback is needed!

November is National Family Caregivers Month. The Associated’s Caring Commission/Aging Subcommittee is hosting focus groups the weeks of November 27 and December 4, 2017 and we are looking for family caregivers to share your experiences, needs, and ideas. We’re seeking caregivers (not professional, paid caregivers)  for family members, loved ones and friends. The person receiving care may live in or outside of Baltimore.

Groups will be held at the Edward A. Myerberg Center (3101 Fallstaff Road) or the Jewish Community Services Building (5750 Park Heights Avenue) and will be led by a third-party facilitator. There will be multiple sessions (each approximately 60-90 minutes long) at varying times. GIFT CARD RAFFLE before and after each group! More details to follow, including specific information about date/time.
